CanadaBuys is a new suite of online procurement services, launched by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). It opens up an exciting range of possibilities for doing business with the government. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is using SAP Ariba, a web-based tool that allows businesses to view and bid on opportunities with the Government of Canada. CanadaBuys will ultimately replace the tendering services on the Buyandsell site. If you are used to Buyandsell, don't worry! The transition to CanadaBuys is taking place in stages, over time. For now, PSPC will continue to post tender opportunities on Buyandsell. The only difference is some of those tender opportunities will now redirect you to SAP Ariba. In order to view these tender opportunities in detail and to bid, businesses will be prompted to register for an account. Registering and completing your company profile in advance will save you time and will let you put all of your focus on preparing your bid when the time comes.
