We are reaching out to inform you of a funding opportunity being released by the US Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T), under the Silicon Valley Innovation Program (SVIP) that is open to Canadian small and medium-sized companies.

A free public virtual Industry Day is being held on Tuesday, August 18th, from 9:30 to 13:00 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), where representatives from the six DHS programs will speak about their use cases, technology needs, and take questions from industry. SVIP seeks applications from non-traditional government contractors, with less than 200 employees (including parent and subsidiary companies), and must not have been a DHS contractor in the past 12 months, nor have been a contractor or sub-contractor to any FAR-based contracts totalling US$1,000,000 in the past 12 months.
