Creative Collision | 5G & Advanced Manufacturing Technologies
Creative Collisions promotes collaboration, experimentation, cross-pollination, & serendipity between industry, researchers and startups. About this Event [Français ci-dessous] Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and 5G are drastically changing the worldwide manufacturing industry. Is the manufacturing sector in Quebec keeping pace with the new developments? How could researchers and startups support the manufacturers' transition to industry 4.0? Could the industry remain competitive by collaborating with researchers and startups in innovative projects? If so, how? Creative Collisions builds upon the 10 years and more than 110 demonights of Montreal NewTech with a unique format aiming to inspire industry, researchers and entrepreneurs to come together and collaborate. It focuses on the potential value of collaboration in the intersection between two different industries, technologies and/ or fields. This intersection or combination is often where innovation sprouts. Our next edition will explore the possible innovations that may result in the intersection of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and the 5G. C'est souvent au croisement de nouvelles combinaisons que l'innovation prend forme. If you're looking for engineers, journalists or investors to take your startup to the next level, this is your chance! // Industry Insights & reverse pitch From 2014 and on, we try to bring key industry stake holders to present and engage with the other participants and audience around specific insights, challenges and opportunities related to their organizations or industry and offer potential collaborations paths with them // Innovative Research Since 2017, at each demo night, we have been aiming to bring a researcher or a project that has a deep research component to it to inspire startups and aspiring entrepreneurs to strive for meaningful innovations. // Meet your Community Since the beginning of our events series, we usually take few minutes at the end for community announcements; it's all what we are about at the end of the day! While we have amazing communities helping entrepreneurs or exploring new technologies and innovations, many current or aspiring Montreal entrepreneurs are still unaware of all the awesome groups that exist. Especially this time being a kick off for the new seasons with usually a fairly high number of new beautiful faces in our community. So let's change that!
